Isopropyl Alcohol 99.9% is a common percentage of isopropyl alcohol. This grade of solvent can be used for cleaning, disinfecting, wiping down benches, mirrors, and much more. When deciding between isopropyl alcohol 99% and isopropyl alcohol 100% it is up to you as there isn’t really much difference between the two (only 1% to be exact). People usually lean towards 99% when they need it for a specific formulation.

Growing Mushrooms: 70% is more effective at killing bacteria and unwanted fungas. 70% is better as it doesn't evaporate as quickly as 90% and above, meaning that it has time to enter the cell wall of the bacterium and kill it.
